Children's Personality Mini Session
 

Capture your child's unique personality with a fun, simple, and timeless portrait session designed just for them.

These sessions focus on genuine expressions, natural smiles, and the little details that make your child who they are. Whether your child is shy, silly, adventurous, or full of energy, my goal is to create beautiful portraits that showcase their individual personality in a clean and classic style.
 

Session Details​

Up to 30 minutes (can be less)

Includes 10 professionally edited digital images

Client selects their favorite 10 images from the gallery

Designed for children 6 months to 12 years old

Age Requirements

For infants who are not yet sitting independently, they must be able to comfortably lift themselves up using their arms while on their tummy. This helps ensure a safe and successful session experience.
 

What to Wear

Clothing plays an important role in creating timeless portraits. I am happy to provide wardrobe guidance before your session, but clothing must be purchased or provided by the client.

For the best results, I recommend: Solid colors, Soft pastel tones, Neutral colors, Simple, classic outfits

 

Please avoid:

Large logos

Character clothing

Busy patterns

Stripes

Bright neon colors

Distracting graphics

The goal is to keep the focus on your child rather than their clothing.

Props & Special Requests

You are welcome to bring your own balloons or small personal items if you'd like to incorporate them into the session.

Please note:

• Balloons are not provided

• Smash cake sessions are not offered at this time

• Cakes, decorations, and themed setups are not included

What to Expect

These sessions are relaxed and child-led. I work quickly to keep things fun and engaging while capturing authentic moments and expressions. Every child is different, and the session is tailored to their comfort level and personality.

The result is a collection of beautiful portraits that preserve this special stage of childhood for years to come. These are perfect for annual portraits, birthday minis, baby milestones.

Studio & Guest Policy

To help create a calm environment and keep the focus on your child, please limit attendance to Mom, Dad, and the child being photographed.

If siblings are not participating in the session, please make alternate arrangements for them. My studio space is limited, and minimizing extra guests helps avoid distractions while allowing your child to feel comfortable and engaged during their portraits.

If you would like to include additional children in the session, there is an additional fee of $100 per child. Each added child includes:

• 10 additional edited digital images

• Individual portraits of each child

• Sibling portraits together

Please notify me at the time of booking if you plan to add siblings so we can allow adequate time for the session.

Studio Location

All Children's Personality Mini Sessions take place in my cozy in-home studio located in Princeton, Texas, conveniently situated just minutes from McKinney and serving families throughout North Dallas and the surrounding communities.

Because the studio is located within my home, space is limited, which is why I ask families to follow the guest policy and keep attendance to only those participating in the session.

The intimate studio setting allows me to focus on creating timeless portraits while minimizing distractions and helping children feel comfortable throughout their session.

*If you are allergic to cats I would strongly recommend NOT TO BOOK an in studio session with me at my home. We have two tuxedos and even though they aren't allowed in the studio, they do walk around the rest of the home. We can always pic other studios in the area instead.
